This environment stands close by, but separately from the main school, in its own attractive gardens, outdoor play and social areas, with ample wooden bench seating under shady trees and grassy areas for kicking a ball. The main building is double story with spacious upstairs and downstairs classrooms, a fully equipped kitchen for teaching skills, and technology areas for research, ablution facilities, shared library and separate Art Class. Most importantly for this age group is The Hub, a separate Montessori Outdoor Classroom incorporating a tool shed, housing all woodwork and other equipment for various outdoor skills and maintenance, aquaponics, the school’s organic vegetable gardens, a farmyard and other outdoor crafts.

The extended school environment for this age group includes sports fields, swimming pool, a mountain biking track, an amphitheatre for performing arts, drama and stage productions, and an adjacent music room.
